The new Oppo Find X3 Lite completes the Find X3 range, which reaches the Spanish market to offer a smartphone at a more affordable price than the rest of the models.
A device that is around €400 and will try to show that carrying Lite on your behalf does not imply a worse experience. Whether he succeeds or not is something we will unravel in our analysis.
The screen that invites you to use it
The new Oppo Find X3 Lite has an almost perfect multimedia display, its prominent absence being the lack of stereo speakers on the device. For the rest, it offers everything we may need.
As with the superior models, one of the jewels of this smartphone is its screen. This time 6.4 inches, with a 90Hz AMOLED panel and a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. That hides the fingerprint reader integrated into it.
Its performance indoors and outdoors is up to expectations, being able to use the smartphone in any situation we find ourselves. WithWith its excellent sharpness and colour, this puts a great multimedia experience in our hands.
We would have liked this experience to have been complemented by stereo speakers, but the new Oppo Find X3 Lite lacks them. Still, its single speaker boasts high-level power and clarity.
One of Oppo’s hallmarks is taking care of the small details; a good example of this is the inclusion of headphones, which we can use with our headphone jack. Something that we value positively in this range.
The mid-range has a lot to say
We are now facing one of the significant differences between the new Oppo Find X3 Lite, compared to the rest of the range. A mid-range processor which offers a very satisfactory user experience.
An old acquaintance to all, the Snapdragon 765G is responsible for the performance of the new Oppo. Along with its 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage more than enough.
But let’s not be fooled; the new Oppo Find X3 Lite moves with stunning ease. Whether in daily use or the most playful aspect running demanding games. I have the plus of having a 90Hz screen that puts the icing on the cake in that section.
Demanding games like Genshin Impact or Project Cars move with complete fluidity at high graphic levels. They were enduring several hours in a row of play without any problem.
This puts one of the significant assets of the new Oppo, the balance, which makes it a device that offers many lights and few shadows to the user on a day-to-day basis.
We are facing something so round that we are running out of adjectives to talk about Oppo’s ultra-fast charging. It’s something that when you switch to a smartphone that doesn’t have it… you miss it a lot.
The new Oppo Find X3 Lite has a 4,300 mAh battery and 65W SuperVOOC ultra-fast charging. As a result that in just over 30 minutes, we have a full charge.
At the same level is autonomy; we have played and taken photos non-stop for hours, reaching the end of the day with enough battery to continue using it without problems—a great job from Oppo on the software and hardware used to achieve this.
ColorOS 11 continues to evolve
The arrival of the Find X3 range has meant a significant advance for the brand in terms of software; in its latest version of ColorOS, we have the newest version of Android and, most importantly, long-term support announced by Oppo itself.
In the new Oppo Find X3 Lite, we have enjoyed ColorOS in its version 11.1 with Android 11 with the security patch on May 5, 2021. So we have the latest official version, waiting for Android 12.
Software to which we can only put a snag, the pre-installed applications and that some like Netflix we cannot uninstall. It is an only sin in this aspect of Oppo.
In the rest, we are facing a user experience with the best pure Android, together with large doses of customization. We have many options, from the lock screen to the icons.
If we focus on the user experience, it has been fluid without any lag. Whether playing games or browsing between different apps, Oppo has found the sweet spot between software and hardware in this device.
Photographs and video on stage
We come to another of Oppo’s hallmarks, the care in the photographic section of its devices, which on this occasion is joined by the video experience. One of the claims of the new Oppo Find X3 Lite.
Oppo Find X3 Lite
Unlike the rest of the Find X3 range, we are for a different bet this time. It is the primary sensor of 64 Mpx f / 1.7, accompanied by an ultra-wide angle of 8 Mpx f / 2.2 one step below.
It is completed by a macro next to the black and white sensor, both 2 Mpx. They are but a long way from the primary sensor. Something that becomes more than remarkable in low lighting situations.
But don’t let the theory fool you, the new Oppo Find X3 Lite is a phone with which you start taking photos, and when you realize it, you have more than 200 photos. Because its primary sensor shines by itself, offering a more than satisfactory experience.
Not only in optimal light conditions, but we also enjoy it at night, something few can say. Whether night mode or normal mode, the new Oppo is positioned high.
Is it very far from the rest of the Find X3 family? It is noted that there have been cuts, but at least we have the primary sensor that is a pleasure to use. And most importantly, in almost any light condition, something that opens up a wide range of possibilities.
