As an RPG that it was, in this case, we will have ours. As players, we will control V, a mercenary that we can customize to our liking in terms of aesthetics, voice, gender, and even past. And the expectation with all this comes in part to ‘The Witcher,’ because the popular video game (and now series) is from these same creators, who from witches and magic are passed to cyborgs and dystopia.
Game mode and details
‘Cyberpunk 2077’ is an RPG that will be played in the first person (unlike ‘The Witcher 3’, which is played in the third). We can choose between “Solo” (combat), “Techie” (team), or “Netrunner” (network play) modes.
The course of the story will depend on the decisions we make, such as “Choose your adventure” (or the episode of ‘Black Mirror’ Bandersnatch, being able to select what we say in the dialogues, and even having romance options in the game of various guys (with their nudes and swear words included).
Hence, we will have to consider each of our actions because each one will involve one development or another. As we have already explained, they will affect aspects such as how we present the mission, that past that we have chosen, the involvement of the characters, or that we take a more or less direct route to a place.
As V, we will have our house, an apartment that will be the base to prepare ourselves at the level of weapons or clothing. In addition, we will be able to assign points to attributes such as intelligence, reflexes, strength, or constitution, being able to take advantage of that transhumanism so fashionable in dystopia and contact doctors to obtain improvements (legal or contraband), such as weapons grafts or powerful integrated scanners in our eye.
There are six days left for one of the most anticipated releases of all 2020. Cyberpunk 2077 will arrive next Thursday, December 10, to stay, and CD Projekt RED is preparing engines to celebrate its grand premiere. The Polish studio has organized a party that has been announced through the official Twitter gaming account.
This is how, starting at midnight on December 10, we will be able to enjoy the so-called ‘Cyberpunk 2077 Official Launch Party’. Although many more details on how it will be celebrated have not yet been revealed, the publication indicates that there will be rounds of questions and answers with the developers, exclusive announcements, and “surprises and more.”
Cyberpunk 2077 reveals the details of its photo mode.
We’re just a few days away from savoring the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 and heading into Night City. Even though CD Projekt RED has revealed a lot of information and details about the game throughout the year, we still didn’t know what its photo mode was like. However, the Polish study has recently published a new advance that shows all the tools that we will have at our fingertips.
Unsurprisingly, the photo mode also does justice to all the incredible work that CD Projekt has done in Cyberpunk 2077. As players, we can add effects, blurs, change the pose of the character to suit our framing, and even modify its facial expression. And as we have also seen in other games, Cyberpunk’s photo mode will offer the possibility of adding stickers, frames, and backgrounds.
Cyberpunk 2077: this is how PS4 and Xbox One save games are transferred to PS5 and XSX
Being a game that falls right between the old and the new generation, with versions for both platforms, Cyberpunk 2077 could be one of the few games that are started to be played by fans on PS4 and Xbox One X, to be finished on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S. CD Projekt Red has taken this into account, so it has revealed on the game’s website the options we have to move the game from one platform to another.
These modifications will also influence the game and are an essential part of it. In addition, we can also use vehicles (among which at the moment we know that there are cars, motorcycles and some sailors), which can be driven in first or third person, being able to run over pedestrians like ‘Grand Theft Auto’ (although it will not be the objective of the game), and can also swim.
The missions that we will have to carry out are achieved above all by characters called “Fixers.” Something like brokers for mercenaries (if you have seen ‘The Mandalorian,’ more or less the role of the Guild with the bounty hunters). There are up to five types of missions.
